Nationwide is the presenting sponsor of the Memorial Tournament

The Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide is hosted by golf legend Jack Nicklaus and features the world's top golfers as they compete in what is widely considered to be golf's fifth major. 2020 is the tenth year that Nationwide has served as the presenting sponsor of an event that shines a spotlight on our hometown of Columbus, Ohio, and benefits Nationwide Children's Hospital, which provides world-class care to every child, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

Nationwide congratulates Jon Rahm; the 2020 winner of the Memorial Tournament. Rahm won the event finishing 9-under, three strokes ahead of runner-up Ryan Palmer. The win marks the first Memorial Tournament championship for Rahm, who received the 2016 Jack Nicklaus Award at Muirfield Village Golf Club for recognition as the nation’s top collegiate golfer.

Benefiting Nationwide Children's Hospital

Nationwide is proud to partner with Jack Nicklaus and the Memorial Tournament because of our shared commitment to giving back to the community. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Memorial Tournament Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Since partnering with the Memorial in 2011, together Nationwide and the Memorial Tournament have raised more than $13 million for Nationwide Children's Hospital. In 2006, the Nationwide Foundation pledged its largest gift in its history, granting $50 million to the hospital, and over the last five years, gifted the hospital with an additional $60 million in grants to establish and support the Nationwide Foundation Pediatric Innovation Fund at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
