As a nationwide member with Identity Theft protection, you have access to a variety of tools and services to help keep your personal information safe online. Email Health Check is a new convenient interactive search tool located on the Nationwide Identity Theft Protection dashboard, that allows you to see if your email address has been compromised in a data breach.

The Email Health Check tool provides Nationwide customers with Identity Theft Protection with real-time feedback and understanding of where their email has been exposed on the dark web. It also helps you understand the extent of your personal information found in data breaches and the corrective actions to take.

Here’s an overview of how Email Health Check works:

1. First, log in into your Nationwide Identity Theft Protection portal and click the Email Health Check button on their dashboard.


2. Then, enter your email address and click ‘Check Your Exposure’.


3. You will receive an email with a special link, redirecting you back to your portal to immediately view their historical data breach report.

The report provides detailed information that shows if your email has been breached, where it occurred, what information was found, and instructions on what to do next.


4. You can check multiple email addresses by clicking ‘Generate New Report’ and following the prompts on the screen.
